My Current Obsessions: Summer 2017

I live for summer. I love the sunshine, the afternoon rain showers (and the rainbows that follow), the unscheduled downtime, the family vacations, and the glorious food that is associated with this time of year. It all makes me so stinkin happy!

And the items on this season’s My Current Obsessions list made this summer even better…

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm: I have one in my car, one in my purse and one in my vanity. I’ve used them all summer because they’re an easy, quick way to pamper my lips (soo smooth!) and give them a bit of subtle color. Throw them in your cart on your next late night Target.com spree. 😉

Chambray Slip-Ons from Old Navy: Two words–sanity savers. Both of my littles (ages 4 and 6) have a pair of Slip-Ons because Oh. My. Gosh. they make life soo much easier for all of us! They’re super cute, durable and the boys can put them on BY THEMSELVES. Hallelujah!

Ginger Dressing from Publix: I bought this to drizzle over (OK, drown) my kale salads, but I have been using it on EVERYTHING. I’ve dipped chicken tenders in it, poured it on my sandwiches and burgers, and even mixed it in my scrambled eggs! It’s a little addicting. 🙂

Large Utility Tote by Thirty-One Gifts: There are currently four of these in my house and we use them ALL THE TIME. I carry gifts and food in them to parties and get-togethers, towels and toys on beach trips, snacks and car entertainment on road trips … the list goes on. This was the tote that made me fall in love with Thirty-One five years ago. 🙂

Philly Swirl Jungle Swirls Sorbet Bars: Stumbled upon these several weeks ago and we are now obsessed. I like that there’s not any artificial colors; my boys like that they’re REALLY yummy! This is a huge win considering we consume mass amounts of popsicles during the summer!

Ebates: Um, why didn’t I sign up for this when I did my ENTIRE Christmas shopping online while on bedrest? This is the easiest cash back program. Now when I’m online shopping, I just go on Ebates first, then choose the site I want and do my shopping. My Cash Back accrues and then it’s direct deposited into my checking account. Easy! I LOVE easy. And I LOVE doing my summer birthday party/baby shower/vacation/back-to-school shopping using something this easy.

Chunk Bars by Perfectly Posh: I found this company a few years ago and rediscovered it this summer. It has awesome body/hair/skincare products–think Bath & Body Works, but everything has natural ingredients and nothing is over $25. These Chunk Bars are my new obsession from the catalog. They smell AH-MAZING and are a luxurious treat for a gift (or yourself), but without the luxury pricetag! Yes, please. I also love that they have independent consultants–I looove helping other women with their small businesses! (*I’ve linked this photo to my consultant, Kari. Check it out when you have a moment.)
